Pushkar Tours ("we", "us", "our") is a personalized travel design company based in Dahisar East, Mumbai, India. We value the trust you place in us when you share your details to plan a journey. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is intended to comply with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Information we collect

  • Contact details — your name, phone number, email address and city, shared when you enquire via WhatsApp, email, phone or our website's trip planner.
  • Booking information — traveller names, ages, government ID or passport details, visa-related documents, and health or dietary information you choose to share, to the extent needed to make your bookings.
  • Travel preferences — destinations, dates, budgets and interests you share so we can design your itinerary.
  • Payment confirmations — records of payments made towards your bookings. We do not collect or store your card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs or banking passwords.

Our website itself is informational and does not require you to create an account. It does not set tracking cookies. When you tap "WhatsApp us", the conversation happens on WhatsApp and is subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.

2. How we use your information

  • To design itineraries, make bookings with hotels, airlines, transport and experience providers, and manage your trip end to end.
  • To communicate with you about enquiries, bookings, schedule changes and support during travel.
  • To meet legal, tax and regulatory requirements applicable in India.
  • To share occasional updates or offers, only where you have consented; you may opt out at any time by telling us on WhatsApp or email.

3. Who we share it with

  • Travel suppliers — hotels, airlines, railways, transport operators, permit authorities and local partners, strictly to the extent needed to deliver your bookings.
  • Visa and insurance facilitation — where you ask us to assist, documents are shared with the relevant processing agencies or providers.
  • Government authorities — where required by law, such as permits for restricted areas or statutory record-keeping.

We never sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. How long we keep it

We retain booking records for as long as needed to service your trip and to meet legal and tax record-keeping requirements in India, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Enquiry details that do not lead to a booking are kept only as long as reasonably needed to follow up.

5. How we protect it

We apply reasonable security practices appropriate to a business of our size — restricted access to booking records, secure devices, and care in transmitting documents. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information consistent with the standards contemplated under Indian law.

6. Your rights

  • You may ask what personal information we hold about you, and request that it be corrected or updated.
  • You may ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must retain by law.
  • You may withdraw consent to marketing communication at any time.

7. Children

Our services are intended for adults. Information about minors travelling with you (such as names and ages for bookings) should be provided by a parent or legal guardian.

Our website links to platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Google and WhatsApp. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
